Landscape architects will join across the country during the month of April to promote the landscape architecture profession to students, specifically underrepresented minorities. They’ll hold public events showcasing just what can be done through hands-on work with the public, speaking engagements, and in-school presentations. World Landscape Architecture Month will spur a countrywide movement, teaching children, young adults, and even teachers just how artfully landscape architects design their world.
The Illinois chapter of ASLA has placed great importance on education advocacy for this year's Celebration+ event. With a field session and two Educational Sessions sponsored by Bartlett Tree Experts, education awareness is paramount. Read more about the days events here.
So let's think big this April! Join in by registering for the Celebration+ event on April 15 (early bird registration ends soon!). Check back for details on how you can participate in World Landscape Architecture Month and gain exposure for your firm!
