During Alan’s tenure with ILASLA, he has seen the organization greatly improve. He is very passionate about seeing the Illinois Chapter continue to be a leader among fellow chapters. Alan believes that the Chapter should continue to find ways to increase the value of being a member and appropriately communicate this value to prospective members. He believes that the Chapter should continue to work with allied professionals to make them aware of the great work that landscape architects are doing and find ways to collaborate on projects. He also will continue to make public awareness a top priority for the Chapter and believes it is important to celebrate the diversity of the profession.
